Five steps
- Create your accountat x.ai/pricing. Sign up with X, email, Apple or Google.
- Choose Premium and pay at checkoutCard, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link.
- Download Grok Botfrom x.ai/bot. Pick your computer type, or get the phone app.
- Open it and choose Sign inFinish in your browser, then come back. Your first bot opens in a chat.
- Add the Setup CoachOpen our template link and choose Add to Grok Bot. Check what it includes, then choose Add Bot. Coach link: Coming soon Until then, paste the prompt below.
Screens can change. xAI’s help pages are the final word. If you subscribed in X or through Google Play, manage or cancel it there.
Your first 15 minutes: one drafted review reply
Paste this into the chat:
“Draft a reply to this review. Keep it short and warm, in my voice. Drafts only: never post or send anything.”
Then paste one review (business) or one email (personal).
Then test it on three real past messages before you use it day to day.

- It sees only what you paste or connect. Connect one app at a time.
- Never paste passwords or card numbers into chat.

Not the way we set it up. Every template and prompt here is drafts only: you read each draft and decide what goes out.
What can it see?
Only what you paste into the chat or the apps you choose to connect. Start with nothing connected; add one app at a time if a job needs it.
What if I cancel?
You can cancel your xAI plan at any time from Billing & invoices on your grok.com dashboard. If you subscribed in X or through Google Play, cancel there. Anything you downloaded from Smallstep stays yours.
